SiteHive and the future of multisite in Joomla

Within the Joomla developer community, a recent GitHub discussion introduced the concept of SiteHive, a possible approach to managing multiple sites from a single Joomla installation. The proposal explores the use of a site_id structure in database tables to keep data and configurations separated while sharing the same core system.

Ideas like this show how the Joomla ecosystem continues to evolve through experimentation and community collaboration.

ZoneCoin: what to expect from the demo

During the session, Druskus will also present ZoneCoin, sharing the vision behind the project, its key features, and the development process that led to its creation.

It will be a great opportunity to discover a brand-new extension and interact directly with its creator before the full details are revealed in the live demo.

Nella community degli sviluppatori Joomla è stata recentemente avviata una discussione su GitHub sul concetto di SiteHive, una possibile soluzione per gestire più siti da una singola installazione Joomla. L’idea prevede l’utilizzo di un identificatore site_id nelle tabelle del database per separare dati e configurazioni dei diversi siti pur condividendo lo stesso core.

Questo tipo di sperimentazioni mostra come l’ecosistema Joomla continui ad evolvere grazie al contributo della community.
