We are pleased to announce the nomination for the position of Group 2 Officer President. The following individual has submitted his  nomination in accordance with the new nomination process. Please find attached his manifesto, along with the election timeline for this position.

Note: This is election follows the new methodology that provides different timelines based on number and type of candidates.

Election’s timeline and methodology

This election falls under the “New DC/Officer Uncontested” scenario in which there is only one candidate and is new in the office for which is a candidate.

• February 26, 2026 - New DC/Officer declared as sole candidate. Manifesto published and recommendations form opened.
• March 5, 2026 - Recommendations form closed
• March 6, 2026 - Recommendations published and ballots sent out.
• March 13, 2026 - Ballots close at 23.59 UTC
• March 14, 2026 - Results announced.
• March 14, 2026 - First day of New Term.

Notes:

• As per the Bylaws all Members (Class 3), Team Leaders (Class 2), Department Coordinators and Officers (Class 1) have the right to vote in the Officer's elections.
• Team Leaders (Class 2) and Team Members (Class 3) of the interested Department will vote for their Department Coordinator.
• According to the Bylaws (link below), existing Officers also vote for new Officer roles.
