Your Recommendations

Elisa will provide a balanced approach as President of OSM. She has been with the community for many years, and she understands the complexity of the community and will work well with the leaders and the volunteers. What makes Joomla tick is the community; it's not just about the 'product' or how you can promote yourself. As president, I think she will listen, guide, and help our community to take the next steps forward. I have worked with Elisa for many years, any time she has offered assistance to a project, she has always followed through with kindness and dedication. - Laura
I found [her] candidacy very much in tune with the Joomlers. Above all, I liked the way [she] came across – respectful and approachable. - Gioacchino Cipriano
Elisa values the sharing of knowledge. She also has a deep sense of the general interest, on top of a good knowledge of the Joomla Community and all her technical background. - Marc Dechèvre
Elisa approaches this role as a member of the community, not above it. Her perspective as a long-time Joomla user, contributor, and professional gives her credibility, while her collaborative mindset ensures she remains approachable and responsive. For these reasons, Elisa represents a strong and balanced choice for President—someone who prioritizes connection, transparent communication, and the collective strength of the Joomla community. - Nicola Galgano
I see and understand Elisa commitment in different roles and long experience of Joomla and its developlment. I think both are good candidates and mabye Michael can be vice president but Elisa is best fit right now. Thks! aka snobben - darb Joomler since 2005 web/internet commitment since 1994.. - Stephan Darbell
I have known Elisa for many years, and I am happy to recommend her for the role of OSM President. She is deeply rooted in the Joomla community, and that is exactly what we need right now – someone who knows where we come from and understands what holds this community together. Elisa is direct and honest, sometimes critically so, and she says so herself. I see that as a strength: we do not need someone who tells us only what we want to hear. What we need is someone who listens, connects people, and keeps things moving. I am genuinely looking forward to working with her on the board. To me, Elisa is the right choice. - Sigrid Gramlinger
I have had the pleasure of knowing Elisa for a number of years and in fact am one of the individuals who has long encouraged her to seek the nomination of OSM President. Her message of connecting with the community and larger ecosystem is not just talk but action. From Joomla events, to WordCamps, to CloudFest, she exhibits a maturity to connect with the core Joomla community, spread its message, and be a part of the entire web ecosystem. This is critical for the sustainability and future of Joomla. Especially in our new AI universe, the ability and desire to build relationships and bridge disagreements is the key component of a successful leader. Her professionalism from running a successful Joomla agency to engaging with developers, designers, creators, and executives is unparalleled. I commend her honesty in her manifesto and feel there is no one more qualified to nurture and grow Joomla in all of its forms. - Robert Jacobi
Elisa knows Joomla and genuinely cares about the community. What I appreciate about her is that she has good ideas and has enough connections to get them done. She's easy to work with, listens to feedback, and has a good sense for what the community actually needs. She is aware about the not so easy situation of Joomla! and that things need to change but also has a deep knowledge about the past and the values of the Joomla! history. That mix seems pretty useful for the role. - Benjamin Trenkle
