What a hellish 22 days it's been since waking up on August 21st to news Facebook took our Joomla page down for impersonation of ourselves. (not a typo)

Our Facebook page is a major artery in the distribution of critical news to our community and it's been a real challenge and additional workload to try to ensure information was seen. That atop multiple appeals to Facebook support staff.

All that said, I got an email tonight with a very lowkey message (I checked the headers as I thought it was fake) "Hello, After reviewing your appeal, your Page Joomla has been published. This means it can now be viewed publicly. The Facebook Team"

A GREAT BIG JOOMLA THANK YOU to Ben Seidel who is in my Joomla FB group. He very kindly messaged me and nudged a friend of his who works at Facebook to please request that they take closer look.
