Here are some slides from a talk by John Lilly, CEO of Mozilla, that outlines some lessons the Mozilla project has learned and a few thoughts for the future. I think the Joomla! project has learned some of these lessons and is in the process of really learning others. Some of his points can be interpreted in different ways within the context of the Joomla project but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the project would be better off if we could all put our energy into realizing our Mission, Vision, and Values.
