Wow.. It is impressive how fast time passes. GSoC final evaluations are coming soon and projects are effectively near completion. Regarding JWF, Mostafa has been working in including history functionality for workflow administrators as well as solving some issues in 1.5 & 1.6 and preparing for online webinar. I've done several tests and reported a couple of bugs, specially in 1.6 where it is quite unstable. Additionally I have proposed an extra feature; I hope he considers for future releases as it is not trivial with the current implementation. At the moment, workflow creator assigns a fixed group to every station compounding the flow. I personally think, there are cases in which nobody knows which group should be associated to a step but the user in the previous one. A review environment could be compounded of members categorized by domain knowledge and initial reviewer (it reminds bug tracker scenarios and I suspect Wikipedia probably does something similar) might want to define responsible group for next step at that moment. Unfortunately, I got this idea a little bit late as we are on "pencils down" phase. Anyway, your feedback is kindly appreciated as well as testing, reports, translations and suggestions in both platforms. Here t he latest package.

It is obvious, it will take some time until having a stable 1.6 and a functional workflow solution for this platform, but current design is ACL handler independent which makes quite easy to implement support for ACL solutions like JUGA or noixACL in 1.5. Mostafa: I truly believe the challenge has just begun and this is just the first battle. JWF success depends on community response and work beyond GSoC. You can count on me whenever you need it.

Finally, a summary of my planned activities, delayed due to my job and travel issues (I am living last weeks in my country and there are several other things to do before leaving my Ecuador):

• Testing of Taxonomy extension in 1.6. (I should have done it long ago: Luis, you're a bad mentor, bad)
• Spanish package for JWF. It will be ready this week as later.
• Testing of other GSoC projects. I am personaly interested in control version for 1.6. Hey Victor, it is in my queue.
• Help with project logistic. Mostafa, feel free to ping me if you want to set up a page for project. Hey world!!, help regarding logos and colors will be appreciated. I'll let you know when is the right moment. I am so bad with design and colors.
• J!Research taxonomy integration. That is a little bigger so it will surely start after GSoC 2009.
