Hi everyone,

This is my first blog post and I am here with alpha version of the application I am required to develop.  Firstly, I would like to give a brief overview of the project(a kind of first blog post ritual).

My project is to develop a Desktop App using which one can manage all activities pertaining to site development using Joomla!, thereby giving an alternative for web browsers.I am using Adobe Flex/AIR to develop this app.

This alpha version can be used  to access most of the services. However not all features will work(thats why its an alpha version). 

You can download the app installer named JoomlaDesktopAppTest1 from the link  http://labs.joomla.org/svn/labs/playground/people/rverma/. Refer to the "ReadMe_*" files for information pertaining to installation.

It would be great to have feedbacks(mostly positive) from everyone.
