The J!Awards are about your choices. Whether you're a Joomla developer or volunteer, website builder, business owner, or everyday Joomla user, you can help recognise the people and projects that stand out.
Why It Matters
Joomla is built by volunteers — developers who write extensions in their spare time, writers who share their knowledge for free, designers who craft beautiful websites, and countless others who show up, again and again, to make this community what it is. The Community Choice Awards exist to shine a light on that work. Every nomination and every vote is a way of saying: we see you, and we appreciate you. Whether you're recognising a contributor, a tool you can't live without, or a website that inspired you, you're helping celebrate the people and projects that make Joomla thrive.
How It Works
Nominate your favorites across one or more categories. The nominees receiving the most nominations will advance to the public voting phase. The nominee receiving the most votes in each category wins.
The Rules Are Simple

- Nominations open from 17 August to 13 September 2026
- Voting open from 21 September to 11 October 2026
- Announcement of winners at the Joomla World Conference, 16-18 October 2026, in Potsdam/Berlin, Germany.
