Hi everyone,

I am pleased to bring to you the second alpha version of JoomlaDesktopApp1 or JDAP1, which is based on the first approach(web browser approach-- refer to specs page) . I have included some new features in it and have also tried to remove the shortcomings of the previous release.

The main features of this version are:

• Multi-tabbing facility to edit multiple sites simultaneously.
• Improved JavaScript handling.
• A Notebook tab that can be used to take notes in plain as well as rich text.

However, some of the issues are yet to be resolved which includes access to remote installations. Currently its possible only if you are using windows system, but on UNIX based system (Mac and Linux), the installations hosted on systems in a LAN are accessible. I am trying to figure out the problem and fix it. I would be great to have any help in this direction.
