STF Milestone Selection Committee Candidates to Be Chosen

A small group of 5 community members have stepped forward to volunteer as STF Milestone Selection Committee members. These are the volunteers who will be interviewing and selecting future candidates for paid positions on STF milestone teams. If you are an active, official member, team lead, or assistant team lead, please watch the inbox of the email account registered with your volunteer portal record. The candidates are:

  • Tom van der Laan - Tom works on the Joomla! Academy, CMS Release, PBG and Marketing teams.
  • Laura Gordon - Laura is best known for being the key organizer of JDayUSA for the past few years. She's a member of the JUG Team and also works for Rutgers University (NJ, USA) on the UXD Study.
  • Nicola Galgano - Nicola is a member of the Bug Squad and Automated Testing Team.
  • Yannick Gaultier - Yannick is a mechanical engineer by trade, but fell in love with web development and never looked back. He's big on SEO and has developed several extensions addressing SEO and SEF among others.
  • Stefan Wendhausen - Stefan is currently contributing on the CMS Maintenance and Release as well as Language and Outreach teams.

Thank you to Robert Deutz, past OSM Board member and one of our STF Project Managers, for identifying these committed Joomla! volunteers! And thanks, also, to these dedicated volunteers!

Voting opens July 22 at midnight UTC and closes a week later. Want to get to know these ambitious volunteers? The STF - Public Mattermost channel might be a good place to chat with them.
