Your extension is listed on the Joomla Extensions Directory (JED), and we need your help.
Joomla 6.2 beta 2 has just been released. Beta 2 usually means the release is stabilizing and getting close to final — which makes this the best window to catch compatibility issues while there's still time to fix them.
What we're asking of you:
- Install Joomla 6.2 beta 2 and test your extension against it, in your usual environments. Check that it installs, updates, and runs without errors.
- Report anything you find. If your extension breaks, or you spot unexpected behavior, please file an issue on the Joomla! GitHub repository so it can be looked at before the stable release.
Why it matters: an extension that's compatible from day one of 6.2 means fewer support tickets for you after release, and a smoother upgrade experience for your users. The earlier an issue is found, the easier it is to fix.
While you're at it: Joomla now lets you flag a security update for your extension. Originally introduced for 6.2, this has since been backported to 5.4 and 6.1 as well, so it's available regardless of which branch your users are on. You add a <security> tag to your update server XML, with a severity value from 0 (none) to 4 (critical), and the update will be flagged accordingly in the Joomla admin panel.
