Event Description

Join us for this month’s Joomla User Group London (JUGL) meetup

We will start the evening with Nicholas Dionysopoulos of Akeeba backup fame, to name just one of his popular extensions giving us a talk entitled “Breaking Joomla”. It should make for a fascinating lecture.

Next, we are delighted to welcome Elena Lape, Founder of Holopin
https://www.holopin.io/
Elena will be introducing us to Holopin, how you can use it and what a partnership with Joomla could bring.

As usual, it’s a BYOD event (Bring Your Own Drinks) but all drinks and humans are welcome, we think it will be a great night, packed with Joomla goodness. So see you there.

Schedule (UTC):

The evening will start at 19:00 UTC. That's 19:00 GMT, for those in the UK.

19:00 - Introductions and chit-chat
19:10 - Phil Walton - Intro to the evening
19:15 - Nicholas Dionysopoulos - “Breaking Joomla”
19:40 - Questions
19:55 - Elena Lape - Holopin
20:25 - Questions
20:40 - Get involved in Joomla

We look forward to seeing you.

Joomla! Users Group London is open to all. * Whatever your experience of Joomla! you will get something from the meetings.

We regularly have talks by the members on aspects of site building and maintaining which matter to them.  We have a "clinic" where members can bring questions and seek answers. We also have a roundup of the best extensions that members have come across.

Online since 2019 we have a virtual pub at the end of the meeting to chill
