We are happy to announce the next steps for the Group 2 Elections for the Board of Directors of Open Source Matters. One Officer has been already elected, three Ballots are out and the recommendations for the remaining role are in.
This election impelemented the new methodology for nominations and elections, so this time we have already partial results as well as ballots are running on different times.

- Luca Marzo: 58/60 (96,7% of 60 cast vote forms)
- None of the above: 2/60 (3,33% of 60 cast vote forms).
Participation rates
- 108 people were entitled to vote.
- 60 people have voted (55,56%).
- 9 people were attentive but have not voted (8,33%).
- 39 people have not voted (36,11%).
This election has been processed with the Same Officer/Uncontested methodology. The term of the new office will start on March 24, 2020.

Election channels are available in Glip for each role. These channels will allow department/community members to ask candidates questions regarding their manifestos in order to help them decide who to vote for.

Next Steps:
- Voting Ballots for the Production DC, Operations DC, Legal & Finance DC elections will be sent to voting parties today. As per the Bylaws all Members (Class 3) and Team Leaders (Class 2) of each team listed as Official in each Department will vote for the relative Department Coordinator.
- Voting Ballots for the Department Coordinators will be open until Sunday February 16, 2020 at 23:59 UTC.
