Election’s timeline and methodology

This election falls under the “New DC/Officer Uncontested” scenario in which there is only one candidate and would be new in the role.

  • August 30, 2024 - Sole Candidate declared, Manifesto published. Recommendation form opened.
  • September 06, 2024 - Recommendation submission deadline.
  • September 07, 2024 - Recommendations published and ballots sent out.
  • September 13, 2024 - Ballots close
  • September 14, 2024 - Results announced.
  • September 23, 2024 - First day of New Term.

The Call for Manifestos for the Vice President role is still open for an additional week as there were no submissions.

Next Steps:

  • Voting Ballots for the Secretary election will be sent to voting parties today. As per the Bylaws all Members (Class 3), Team Leaders (Class 2), Department Coordinators and Officers (Class 1) have the right to vote in the Officer's elections.

According to the Bylaws (link below), existing Officers also vote for new Officer roles.
