Description: A custom designed Joomla! 1.5 website for a large Golf shafts company.Case Study: Graphite Design badly needed a new web image to match their world class products. It needed to be search engine friendly and easy to update. Of course, we decided that Joomla! 1.5 would be the best fit. The ease of updating modules and content made Joomla! the perfect solution.
The entire site was developed using mostly core functions. The only component used was CK forms. We needed something light and simple. The MetaMod module was used for the header images so that I could use PHP conditional statements to display images on specific pages without creating multiple module items.
The best feature relates to the core menu module. The appearance of page hierarchy is created through the use of menu items and sub menu items. I customized the menu module to indicate the first and last menu items, so that their appearance can be controlled through CSS. This was done to prevent a slash from appearing after the last menu link.
