Description: January 2009 both ZPC Heidelberg and HZC Weusthag joined forces and founded a new Dutch Swimming club "WSTwente". Club-members can aquire their swimminglicence, swim in and out of competition and play waterpolo on the highest Dutch level. The merger of the two clubs, from has led to a very active squad of Master-Swimmers.Case Study: The club has 1000 members, who are swimming for their licence, swim aquamanania, swimkick, speedo, competition, play waterpolo, swim as a master.
It was (and still is) difficult to create sections and categories for all those members to find their "own" place.
As for all clubs it is hard to find volunteers to add articles.
We created a timetable-manager for displaying results per swimmer.
Another feature, for which our site is very popular in the Netherlands, is the watepolo-scheduler. The national waterpolo association (K.N.Z.B.) offers a XML-feed with all waterpolo games. We made a parser to manually insert once per year our teams, and we can display all scheduled games.
