Description: First Parish is a Protestant Congregational church located in Wakefield, MA. We are dually affiliated with the UCC and 4C's. First Parish is the 23rd church established in the Massachusetts Bay Colony (thirteen remain active).Case Study: The site provides members and non-members with information about what is happening at our church, and in the community.

We updated from joomla 1.0 to 1.5 and switched templates recently. This is our 3rd template since we started using joomla, and I think we have finally found the correct one for our church. We tried to use as much of the core product as possible, without having to add modules and components, but we also discovered that sometimes that just isn't possible, so we bit the bullet and added ones we deemed necessary.

Without going into details, we also discovered that all webhosts are not the same, and that cheaper isn't always better.
