Site Profile

Description: This website is England's Official source of information on Anaerobic Digestion as a renewable energy source. It is aimed at people from sectors such as local Governments, agriculture and industry. It provides these people with a single source of information on what AD is and how biogas production can benefit them as well as the environment.

This site was produced by the NNFCC with assistance from the UK Government, WRAP and other partners.Case Study: The site is divided up into four main sections, each representing a target audience, providing these audiences with material relevant to them.

The design is minimalist to ensure each page delivers only it's content with no distractions.

The site also contains a custom-written map of biogas facilities in the UK which is not part of the Joomla! suite, however a standard Article is used as a landing and instruction page.
