Description: A website dedicate to disseminating information on the biochemistry of the brain and on disorders that can occur . It is written in Spanish. It has sections dedicated to biochemistry, with descriptions of metabolites and biochemical reactions. It has a section dedicated to diseases and treatments. In addition there is a section dealing with dementia including Alzheimer's disease and Mad Cow Disease.
We accept submissions, preferably in Spanish on any subject matter of biology or biochemistry or on the personal experience of living with any chronic disease. During a period of several years, volunteers worked migrating http://biopsicologia.net to Joomla 1.0 conserving the old URLs and using SH404SEF to map them to search engine friendly URLs.
I migrated our working copy to Joomla 1.5, added the content of a section that had not been transferred. I added keywords so that related items would appear on each page. I put the new Joomla 1.5 site into production. Traffic has steadily increased with the new search engine friendly URLs. I just redesigned the template with Joomla Template Builder
