Description: This is the website of the Sami organization in Lycksele, Swedish Lapland. The organization in Lycksele has an old school as headquarters in the old place in Lycksele. This school is very special, in the year of 1847 we had a school for the indigenous people and Sami girls in Lycksele. The very first school in Lycksele was established in 1632 for sami children. Today we can show this school with its original interior. The website is still only in Swedish, but we are working to have it translated in to English.
