Many sites offer hotel reviews across the world, however we aim to provide reviews for the lesser known hotels, that normally would be only known to a select few.
We want to bring exclusivity to the masses and prove that luxury travel is affordable to all, with amazing hotels in unlikely locations.
Our reviews team do not take their work lightly, the full time spent at each hotel is spent analysing and critiquing everything in a full report. We inspect the hotel from top to bottom, starting at the point of reservation all the way through to beyond departure.
Each hotel that appears on the site has received such an assessment from Chocolate Pillow prior to the review being published and each assessor is totally independant to all hotels. despite years of experience travelling or working in hotels, we always ensure that the reviewa re unbiased,achieved by usually taking the view of a standard guest and a professional assessor - a difficult thing to achieve, but this ensures the review is balanced and fair.Case Study: The core component used is jReviews with several other components plugged in to this, namely:

Development has been underway for around 18 months with lots of changes since conception to bring around a clean and tidy interface. There are still a few bugs but working with members of the site, we are developing a more functional and interactive experience with fields that are relevant to what people want from a reviews site and content that will cause them to return.
