The Macleans use local and natural ingredients, some well kept secrets fom the family recipe book, the inspiration of Macbeth and the skills of a family steeped in the traditions of Scottish Baking to produce the range of products that their customers enjoy - time after time.Case Study: The Maclean family have a well established and respected traditional Scottish food brand. Unfortunately their old website didn't reflect this.
The brief for the new website was to make it show off the products and the family business in the best light, with a traditional flavour but a simple, contemporary feel.
We were also asked to give the ability to update the product range and all other pages. The site will also require the ability for full e-commerce in the near future so we had to build this in as well.
Joomla along with the Virtue Mart component was the natural choice for its flexibility and power, and we fulfilled the brief and , more importantly, pleased the customer.
