Description: An internet streaming radio, featuring the ability to request tunes online via a customised component. The site also acts as a front for the emc23 netlabel. We have produced several compilations which are hosted on the archive.org. This was the first ever joomla site we built.
The radio features a large selection of oldtime radio shows, traditional music and other content gleaned from various creative commons and public domain sources as well as mixes from my www.djtechbot.com website.Case Study: This site features a highly customised component for requesting tunes based on the mysql/php code that comes with the SAM radio player.
As usual I use joomlaworks UCD and allvideo plugin for extra media display.
My biggest challenge with this site was maintain the fixed height layout. To this end I use the ninja shadowbox for content that would normally require more displace real estate.
