Description: Kukksi.de is a politics, entertainment and sports news paper initiated by students, teenagers and upcoming journalists.Case Study: The Site has been continuously build over the past months using Joomla 1.6 and now Joomla 1.7.
The Site had many requirements which were all offered by Joomla 1.6 and above:
- unlimited nested categories
- a clean coding structure with implemented mvc structures that are known from other frameworks, since we plan to heavily extend the site in the future
- flexible acl for the relatively great amount of editors that we have(currently 50+)
We also made use of extensions provided by joomlart. The theme is a heavily modified version of the "Ja Teline IV" Theme and all extensions have been modified to show image sources of the respective copyright holders of the used images.
We also used the JSocial Comments extension in order to provide social features for our site such as:
- facebook comments
- google Plus
