The site was built in Joomla 1.5, with several criterias to fulfill, like: news-site look with different subtopics, compatibility with Google News (where we are included), paid subscriber content, smooth integration of advertising, handling 15 different journalists, sending newsletters.
We have used several components, like Community Builder, AEC subscriptions, Acajoom newsletters, to mentionthe backbone of the site.

Please rate us, we are keen on feedback to further improve the site.

The one drawback we see with many components working in Joomla, is the speed became very slow for our taste.
If you have ideas how to improve speed, we are open to hear suggestions and even might open a project for it.
