Description: Local news for Prescott, Arizona and the surrounding communities. News is added daily, and includes information about local politics, schools, sports and even editorial cartoons!Case Study: We started with a template from YouJoomla. Then we changed colors, moved modules around and chose extension from iJoomla (news portal and &ad manager). We use RawContent to insert audio into the news stories.
The site is updated daily, usually with 2-6 new stories.
We also do a live update from Prescott City Council chambers - uploading fresh content after each agenda item.
With this site we have been able to bring a fresh perspective on indepth, investigative reporting, but also allows us to publish news that is more personal and "good" rather than just sensationalized "bad" news.
In our 1 1/2 years of operation, we have reached over 1.5 million page views.
