Description: GreenMuze.com represents a new breed of environmental website. Part daily news agency, part magazine, part advocacy group, and unquestionably idealistic —the GreenMuze website moves beyond the familiar tried and true. GreenMuze offers a sophisticated online setting for intelligent, innovative thinkers who appreciate reading the latest in green news, information and product reviews in a sexy, well-designed atmosphere.Case Study: Launched in August 2008, Greenmuze has grown into a large green news website featuring daily feature articles and blog entries, book and film reviews, a green news stories.
Joomla was chosen for this project as one key requirement was ease of use by non-technical writers and editors. Editors needed an easy interface to write and edit articles as well as place banner and video modules into section and category views on a daily basis.
The GreenMuze design is a modified version of Joomlart's JA Teline II. We liked the layout of the JA Teline II template as well as the auto-thumbnails of article images in frontpage and category views (Ja_News extension included in the template).
