Description: A site of mirth and general entertainment. Created in October 2009, the site currently has only a few dedicated writers, and two anonymous behind the scenes editors.
Duck Apple is currently looking for fresh writing talent, and hopes to generate a community based around light-hearted reviews and cheaply produced comics.Case Study: The site was created with Joomla 1.5, using a customized 'jb_ruins' theme as a template. Modding of 'index.php' template file was used to create a flash logo at the top of the page.
Most of the original mods were stripped away and replaced with custom_html modules.
