Description: hCGLoss.com was developed to provide information and guidance for those wishing to lose weight and get healthy using the hCG diet protocol developed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons in the 1950's. This site provides guidelines, recipes, a detailed FAQ and a forum for people to learn and interact on the program.Case Study: This site was conceived and built while I was myself going through the protocol, and needed to create a logical access to the research I had compiled. I wished to provide a comprehensive approach to the protocol, and felt that Joomla would be a good venue with with to do this.
I am using Joomla 1.5, coupled with Wordpress and SMF forum software to create a total experience. Components used include SWMenuPro, PhocaDownloads, QuickFAQ, RapidRecipes, Sigsiu Online Business Index and Virtuemart. Modules include Affiliate and Sourcerer.
The site is growing fast, and gaining viewers every day.
