Description: The Wisconsin Coalition for a Public Boarding School is an alliance of community-minded organizations, businesses, and individuals, who are building the necessary leadership and support to create a public, college-prep boarding school serving at-risk students primarily in Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin. To aid in their cause, the coalition needed a website based on their written materials plus photo and video content from the Washington, DC based SEED Foundation. New Local Media organized and edited this material to create an attractive and informative presentation of the Coalition's goals and the SEED school concept for the general public, members of the press, policy makers, and potential supporters.Case Study: Solution: Joomla 1.5, Rockettheme's Versatility 4, RokSlideshow, JCE, video players, and social bookmark extensions. The core weblinks component is used to index media coverage of the school; a related module shows thumbnail images of the target sites.
