Site Profile

Description: CKC United is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for organizations and charities by bringing people and music together. Essentially, CKC United organizes live musical events, many of which include bands that they love and bands that have brought them together; they then donate the proceeds to a charity or cause.Case Study: This site was built to showcase the events and provide information about the non-profit CKCUnited. The ability to quickly and easily post upcoming events and describe past events was primary, as well as to show pictures from events, maintain a blog, and allow interested people to sign up for the mailing list.

I used the template MPTHREE by mehrpadin with a bit of css and html editing. Used K2 for the blog section, Acajoom for list subscriptions, adminpraise lite for the backend, swmenufree for the menu, flickr module for image galleries and advanced module manager for better module control.

This was the first site I built from scratch, and Im quite happy with how it turned out. Its been serving the needs of the organization quite well.
