Description: The official website of American Women Club in Cyprus.
This website plays key role in uniting American Women in Cyprus Club. "AWC was founded in Nicosia, Cyprus by a few ladies from the American Embassy on 1960, but little by little many other women from different countries living in Cyprus and many local women joined the club to make it as successful as it is now."Case Study: We used popular and proven process of website creation; Research, design, prototype, develop and launch.
In total it took us three working days. We have designed and created template from scratch in Photoshop CS5 and converted it to Joomla 1.6 XHTML PHP and CSS template. Later on we had to install and customize image gallery and GCalendar for event calendar.
Correction of the image gallery took us some time due t the fact that it was originally created for anther CMS and later converted to Joomla 1.6 component.
GCalendar was much simpler and took us at most 2 hours to correct and properly setup on the website.
For Banner management we used standart Joomla 1.6 banner component.
This was a really nice project and we are proud working with AWCCY.
