Description: The Animal Welfare Society of Stellenbosch (South Africa) is a non-profit organisation which aims to serve the community of Stellenbosch and the greater Stellenbosch area, by taking care of the community's unwanted, mistreated and neglected pets that have been abused and abandoned.Case Study: Employees and/or volunteers will be involved in updating the content of the site, adding items, newsletters, stories, articles etc as well as keeping the adoption pages up to date.
I used a few very helpful components: JCE Editor, JoomlaPack (for backups and restoring), Phoca Gallery for the gallery page (which the client will be compiling and keeping updated to display the dogs and cats that are available for adoption at the time.)I also used Front Page Slider for the home page's rotating images in the header.
Hopefully this website will grow side-by-side with the organisation and will have an active role to play in the success of the AWS.
