Description: Official site of the City of Vicksburg Mississippi; Vicksburg is a progressive city where you will discover a community committed to excellence. It is a unique blend of old and new in a city that offers plenty to see and do. From the specialty shops of historic downtown to the outlet mall, shoppers experience a relaxed atmosphere and friendly people.Case Study: We looked long and hard for a content management system that we could use to design and maintain our website in-house. After trying several of the popular systems we settled on Joomla and never looked back. Our goal was to provide our citizens and potential visitors with an easy to navigate, visually appealing and informational website with all the bells and whistles of a modern website. After just three months of gathering information and designing and testing the site we went live. It has been very popular among oue citizens.
