Description: Calvary Baptist Church Academy was founded in 1996 and is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. CBCA is a non-traditional, non-public school under the Florida Statutes. We offer full record keeping services to home educating families, as well as our one-of-a-kind "Friday School," where our students meet each Friday of the school year for classes that include Band, Art, Drama, and Chorus. Our students enter state and national Bible, academic, and fine arts competitions through the American Association of Christian Schools. Our program also includes a high school athletics program, and as a member of the Florida Christian Conference, our students have the opportunity to play other schools in the conference in Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf, and Softball. We uphold Christian standards and encourage parental involvement and supervision of all activities.
