Site Profile

Description: The website for Conisborough College (previously Catford High School), a Business & Enterprise College in Lewisham, London, UK.Case Study: I had developed and maintained the old static HTML site for this school. It recently converted to a Business & Enterprise College and had a new management team take over.

I proposed converting the site to Joomla and the new team were very embracing of the technology platform. JA Purity template was chosen as it provided all that was required and kept costs down as it comes free. The site is built with the three target audiences in mind ; pupils, parents and staff and aims to develop a community and interaction between them. Since originally posting this, the school has rebranded and changed it's name.

This presented no problems as the site was built on Joomla. We used Akeeba to clone the old site and redevelop the CSS and graphics locally in MAMP to match the new schools identity. Bingo!
