Description: ZA>Ticket is a owner-managed travel agency based in Cape Town, South Africa. It focusses both on Private and Business Clients and differentiates itself by offering personal and tailored services. ZA>Ticket offers the full range of travel services and also corporate travel management tools. Through it's partners ZA>Ticket has access to pooled buying power in order to provide the best deals and access preferred supplier agreements.Case Study: The layout is based on a commercial available template, which has been modified to create a distinct look and feel.
The site features several custom developments, such as a foreign exchange calculator, time zone information, weather reports and travel/city guides. The content is pulled either periodically in the background or real-time via API calls from partners or publicly available sources (e.g. Google, GeoNames).
All front end JavaScript has been replaced with JQuery. The generated output has been re-written to optimise HTML/XML compression and to utilise Content Delivery Networks for static files and Scripts.
