Description: The 'shop window' for Villa San Raffaello - a renovated farmhouse and barn in Sarnano, Le Marche, Italy, recently converted into 4 luxurious self-catering apartments for hire.Case Study: Client wanted to content manage his site remotely in Italy. I had developed the old static html site and suggested Joomla as solution. Together with the client, we chose Vintage (004) template from Joomlashack and customised the skin graphics and colour palette accordingly.
Header animation uses Joomlashack Flashrotator (http://www.joomlashack.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=170&Itemid=15). Content area galleries use SlideShowPro (http://slideshowpro.net/) and EasySSP (http://www.easyssp.com/). Site also makes use of RSForm Pro for contact form and JooMap for sitemap. Tried using sh404SEF for SEF but kept throwing up errors unfortunately.
Client has good SEO knowledge and completely rewrote the site content to optimise for specific key phrases. The site works very well for the clients and is their primary source of bookings. They are fully booked for their third Summer season in a row.
Will be introducing MyBlog component later this year, together with online bookings and availability display.
