Site Profile

Description: The beautiful Mediterranean house now called La Kuca, was built by the end of the 19th century, by an old family from Viganj, Peljesac (Croatia). They were traditional captain's "di lungo corso", traveling all over the world, expecting to always find a peaceful oasis in life, home.
Now, finally the grand grand children of the family, have completely redecorated this sturdy, stone mansion and have decided to offer its beauty and luxury to the public. The idea was to keep it the way it was more than 100 years ago and restore only the technical parts by adding additional services of modern society, thus combining antique and modern in a most subtle way.
Case Study: La Kuca site uses Frontpage slideshow, Joom!Fish for multilingual support, Multithumb mambot for nice slimbox effects and several custom made mambots.

I love the simplicity. My only complaint is that the font and some of the lines actually confused me at first into thinking that it was a Japanese Location not Mediterranean.

The only other idea I had was to limit the size of the images so you don't have to scroll down to see the photos but they fit above the fold.

Great job.
