Description: Modernage Kitchens and Joinery specialise in bringing first rate joinery to Christchurch New Zealand. They are a father and son team who liaise with architects, interior designers and their customers to deliver top quality results.Case Study: This is my first Joomla website and I am really proud of it. Not because it's a great site but because I stuck with it and overcame the challenges that came up. As with any newbie starting out I new nothing. I still have heaps to learn but I'm really glad I've taken my first steps into the wonderful world of Joomla!

The site was originally designed in Photoshop and then constructed the only way I new - through Dreamweaver using xhtml and css. I built my own template thanks to help from Lynda.com training material and then started working in Joomla to fill it out with content.

I used the 'slimbox' extension for the gallery which I found to be an excellent lightbox v2 clone.

As I pressed on with Joomla I found it made more and more intuitive sense and now I can't wait to get my teeth into another site.
