Nicole Erin is a passionate young professional who does not work in a studio, but instead endeavours to achieve stunning portraiture photography through the use of natural light and surroundings, at your location of choice.Case Study: Nicole had already developed a brand, so the design was based on the existing logo and theming.
Nicole wanted a selection of pictures to rotate in the banner so I used ImageSlideShow (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/images-rotators/4348), as I find it's really easy to implement and customise. Nicole now uploads her own pictures to keep the selection of pics that rotate fresh.
Nicole wants to maintain the site often to promote recent shoots in her News section, and also make special offers available on the home page so I implemented JCE (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition/editors/88) to make it easy for her to edit content and insert images, etc.
Her portfolio uses JoomGallery (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/photo-gallery/5481). Nicole particularly wanted the portfolio thumbnails to launch a new window with thumbnails of the gallery so visitors can quickly find pictures, and browse. JoomGallery also has a number of modules, which allows thumbnails of the most popular categories to be displayed. It is very flexible because the thumbnails are dynamically cropped allowing the site to display different dimensions.
Improvements over the coming weeks will include more interactivity with her Facebook page.
