Here's a little about the band:
This project reflects a deep love for the emotional center of America – its life and music. It's a direct reflection of the people and the times they lived in. It's their story told with a melodic and rhythmic backdrop that strikes at the heart of what connects us as humans. From the freedom of expression and wild abandon of the roaring 20's Swing bands to the deep sorrow filled Blues of the depression era to the earnest voices of Country singers as they faced an ever industrializing reality, we are playing these songs to share emotional points of view that are surprisingly divergent and truly American. In our original material, we aim to write music that tips our hat to these time periods and musical forms. By doing this, we pull from the collective American roots music's and the timeless experiences that these music's inherently capture: love, strife, life/death, good times/bad times - the real universal attributes of being human.Case Study: Goals:
The Jug Tonk Stompers approached me to generate a marketing campaign that involved designing and building a custom website, brand identity, and marketing materials. Their Joomla! 1.7 website is build in HTML5 and CSS 2.0-3.0. It works across browsers with Javascript includes. The custom website template was written from scratch and makes use of @font face, CSS3 transforms, HTML audio tags, and other current technologies.
