Russell Winter
Russ lives in Melbourne, Australia working across the Asia Pacific region within the Information Storage, Data Integrity and System Security arena. He first got involved with Mambo in 2002, developing websites and spending time in the forums. Having made the move to Joomla! in mid-2006, Russ has been involved in the old "Quality and Test Work Group" and since has been active in the Installation and Security Forums. Russ has delivered several talks and seminars relating to Web Site & Server Security and Maintenance in recent years and continues to develop the Joomla! Tools Suite Application when possible and is in the process of extending the Tools Suite application to include six other Open Source projects.
Over the years Russ has been involved with several Open Source CMS projects including Joomla!, Mambo, Zope and Plone and has recently been invited to become a member of the Joomla! Security Strike Force Team.
