Joomla Day San Francisco Bay Area

On Saturday, September 20th, Joomla users and developers will converge at Google for JoomlaDay – San Francisco Bay Area.
This is the 2nd annual JoomlaDay event to be held in California’s Silicon Valley, and last year’s event was the first-ever USA JoomlaDay. Once again the venue is the GooglePlex in Mountain View, thanks to the generosity of Google and their unrelenting support for open source. The one-day event will be an "un-conference," which is participant-driven and encourages face-to-face interactivity between the attendees and presenters.
A highly qualified team of Joomla leaders and experts are recruited to facilitate the event’s breakout sessions, including: Wilco Jansen, Allen Gunn, Louis Landry, Anthony Ferrara, Ryan Ozimek, Steve Reichgut, Nathan Mallamace, and Ron Severdia. Additional facilitators are anticipated to attend, but have not yet confirmed. Breakout topics are tailored to meet the needs of all attendees, whether you are a Joombie, Joomler, or JooGuru. From “Installation Tips and Tricks” to “Creative Commons and Copyright Issues”, or “Extension Development” to “Leveraging the Joomla Framework”, a menagerie of knowledge will be shared.
The Bay Area Joomla User Group, organized by Steve Reichgut and co-directed with Nathan Mallamace, is sponsoring the event. The user group is collaborating with Google’s Leslie Hawthorn, Open Source Program Manager, and Josh Brien, Open Source Joomla Advocate.
Space is limited, so sign up early up for JoomlaDay – San Francisco Bay Area directly by clicking here. To learn more about the event, visit www.bayareajoomla.org.
This is your chance to participate in a day of networking, sharing and speed-geeking with Joomla experts!
