Joomla!Day Cape Town 2009
Monday, 03 August 2009
The South African Joomla! Community is getting ready for the upcoming Joomla!Day Cape Town. The event will be held on Saturday, August 15th and there will be an additional training day on Friday, August 14th 2009. The event will be held at Cape Peninsula University of Technology. We're excited to have you join us at Joomla!Day Cape Town 2009, and invite you to learn more at the Joomla!Day Web site for registration and further information.
This year, Open Source Matters board member Ryan Ozimek will be kicking off the event with the keynote address, speaking along with Brendon Hatcher, Matthew Philogene, and Imel Rautenbach from the local community.
The agenda will cover a great deal of Joomla information, including new information on Joomla 1.6, the growth of the Joomla community, and great case studies about the success of utilising Joomla.
All over the world, local communities gather at Joomla! Day events. Joomla! Days are a great way for people who are interested in Joomla! to get together, learn from one another, find ways to contribute to the Joomla! community, and have fun. We wish for our community members in South Africa an enjoyable and successful Joomla!Day Cape Town.
