Single login for multiple clients in Joomla! 1.0?

Before Joomla! 1.0.8 due to a problem in the session implementation it was possible to login with one username simultaneously multiple times. This was corrected in Joomla! 1.0.8.

In Joomla! 1.0.x you can use the site's search functionality to find out if a site removed all example content. Or to show all content (partly) on a page...

You cannot read the article text in your WYSIWYG-editor because it has some annoying black/blue/some other dark colour?
Is that colour the same as your site template's background?

Show module positions of any Joomla! website?

You would like to put some Module at your site but don't know where to put it.... Or "Nice site, is it Joomla! ?"... Or "How did they use some area at that Joomla! site? Is it a Module?"... You can easily find out yourself, without being logged in!

Tired of changing article order on frontpage?

Articles assigned to the Front Page will be added on top of the existing Front Page articles. That's a nice feature, but what if you had a "Welcome to my website" message on the top row? Will you go to the Front Page Manager every time to reorder your "welcome" message to the top?

New installed Joomla (and Mambo) websites always start with user id=62 (in the user table jos_user).

There is a limitation to the number of articles a default Joomla! website can store: just over 4 billion articles.
If you create over 4,294,967,295 articles, your Joomla! website will break....

Sliders
For Joomla! 1.5.5 Alan Langford put in a really nice patch that improves the user interface when you create or edit a menu item. In the past, you always had to have one of the sliders open, which is okay, but when you have a lot of parameters, the lower sliders can go off of your screen. With Alan's patch you can now close all of the sliders at the same time. He writes about creating this patch in the August issue of the Joomla! Community Magazine.

Extension updates made easier
Tired of having to manually update an extension and breaking your menu links? As of Joomla 1.5.5, you no longer have to use the installer to first uninstall an extension and then reinstall a new version. A new feature from Sam Moffat was committed to the codebase that allows developers to use <update> in their XML. You'll be able to install the new version without removing the old one, preserving all of your menu items and other settings.
