The JoomlaConnect feed aggregator is a free service geared to helping users stay connected with Joomla news and updates world wide.

How do I get my feed added to JoomlaConnect?

We welcome submissions of relevant feeds. To have your feed considered for inclusion in JoomlaConnect you will need to send an email to connect@community.joomla.org with some specific information about your feed. Before requesting inclusion to JoomlaConnect make sure you have read the guidelines below. While following the guidelines will increase the chances of your feed being added, there is no guarantee.

Once you have reviewed the guidelines and you are ready to submit your feed for inclusion, include the following in your submission email:

• A feed URL
• A primary language of the feed content
• A short description of the type of content that is published in your feed
• A contact email address where we can reach you if necessary
• A suitable name for your feed

Guidelines for JoomlaConnect Feed Submissions

Following these simple guidelines will increase your chances of having a feed accepted, but the decision on which feeds to include is at the sole discretion of the Joomla Communications Team; there is no guaranteed timeframe for publishing. It is the policy of the Joomla Communications Team not to give any further explanation why a feed was not accepted. Feeds may be removed without notice at any time without explanation.

1. Originating sites must comply with all Open Source Matters policy regarding use of the Joomla name and logos and/or the use of the Joomla name in your domain name.
2. Feeds from originating sites that distribute extensions will only be published if those extensions are GPL-compliant. Do not make it difficult for us to verify this. If we can't easily find proof, your feed submission will not be accepted.
3. Feeds from originating sites that promote illegal activities or have links to sites promoting such activities, such as the unauthorized downloading of copyrighted templates or software will not be included.

Please note that acceptance of a feed does not guarantee that all posts from that feed will be published on JoomlaConnect. Individual items may be unpublished at the discretion of the Joomla Site Team.

Terms of Service

By submitting your feed to JoomlaConnect you are consenting to the temporary storage of the first 400 words of your news items on this site.  You are also consenting to the inclusion of this stored content in the JoomlaConnect syndication feeds.

Open Source Matters may change the terms of service for JoomlaConnect from time to time. Any changes will be available at this location.
