The first meeting for JUGSWO will be held on Thursday October 8th, from 7:10pm at the Personal Computer Museum in Brantford, Ontario. For event details please see this announcement.

Great September meeting this week...lots of helpful input from everyone- thanks! The October meeting will be the first Tuesday in the month, due to Sydney JoomlaDay being the following week.

This event will be right after the Sydney Joomla Day 09, so we'll be bringing back some news, information and other ideas from the event. From last meetup, a popular topic would be template building from scratch. Peter Bui will also present his topic from Joomla Day Sydney on speed optimisation for Joomla.

The next meeting of the Melbourne Joomla User Group will be on Wednesday October 28 from 6:30pm.

Topic: Suggestions for topics are sought after. Or if you're interested, we can have a general workshop where you can have your site troubleshooted by others in small groups in the room? Interested, RSVP ideas in the forum.

Also, we're looking at topics for 2010.

This meet up will be an open discussion about Joomla, hints and tips and ideas about using Joomla. It will be a great opportunity to get those Joomla questions answered and meet some new people.
