Third party developers are vital to the success of Joomla!. To be effective developing extensions you need up to date information about developments in the Joomla! core and how to work effectively and using best practices when extending it. With this in mind, the Joomla! Project is tentatively planning a conference for third party developers on Saturday and Sunday December 5 and 6 in New York City. The conference will include training targeted to experienced developers, information about Joomla! 1.6 and opportunities for networking with other developers and core developers. The conference will be of interest to extension developers, custom developers, and staff developers. We need to know how many people are likely to attend. Here are some of the topics we are planning: Development Track
Business and Networking Track
Update: This form is no longer accepting submissions. Please register for the conference. Yes, we will video the sessions, and if we can provide some kind of streaming or web conferencing we will.
